Looking back at 2022! ๐ŸŽ‰

Year in Review

While 2022 came with some challenges, it is the collaborative effort of our team, our supporting organisations and our consultants that kept us motivated to do what we do. We are so lucky to be surrounded by so much knowledge, talent and energy.

We started 2022 with..

We started the year with a win - The Innovate UK: Audience of the Future Award. This enabled us to further develop and test the Historiscope. We got to work with the wonderful team at Historic Environment Scotland.

We were then able to make the Historiscope market ready when we were selected for the Creative Informatics Resident Entrepreneur Programme.

Have you experienced the Historiscope yet?

We got our very first operational Historiscope installed at Stirling Castle in March. Weโ€™re proud to share that it has been running autonomously since then, withstanding all the seasons and enjoyed by over 90,000 visitors, young and old. ๐Ÿ˜

A bigger and better team!

We went from three members to seven! Our entire team from different parts of the world got a chance to meet and experience the Historiscope for the first time in June.

Slush 2022: Helsinki Trip by Startup Grind Scotland

Our founder, Pooja Katara was taken by Startup Grind Scotland to Slush 2022 in Helsinki in November funded by the Scottish Government and SDI. We got to meet many business support organisations, which enhanced our vision for our business going forward.

When the timing was rightโ€ฆ

We got recognised as one of the Tech Nation Rising Stars 5.0 Glasgow city winners!

And finally, we ended our rollercoaster year with an important reminder - to never give up and trust the timing! After applying for the Scottish EDGE three different times, we got to take home the prestigious Creative Edge Award 20!

Latest Updates

1. We have a brand new website - exclusively for the Historiscope

2. We have a shiny new office - weโ€™re now based at the Advanced Research Center at the University of Glasgow!

Last but not the leastโ€ฆ

These moments wouldnโ€™t be possible without a few important people:

Craig Easdale (Orvio), Jim Whitelaw (Neptune Fabrications), Zach Sorrells (Skillfluence), Jesse Audubey (CreateFuture), Jamie McCallum (Matrix) and the team at Digital Jalebi.

A big thank you to them and the great organisations that helped us learn and grow. We look forward to a really exciting year ahead, and we appreciate your continued support in our journey. ๐Ÿ™
